Hi, welcome back. It’s time to share my top 10 toys of 2023 with you. Better late than never, right? At the end of the post, I also have a little life update for you, which you can skip if you’d like. But I’m still alive and still thinking about this silly website.

Here are the parameters for this top 10– all of these toys came out in 2023 (or close to it), and older toys I bought last year don’t count. If older toys did count, almost none of these items would make this list. But there’s still some good stuff here!

2023 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Storage Shell Turtles Review

Today we’re taking a look at some recent TMNT reissues from Playmates Toys. Playmates has been on a hot streak recently with their vintage Turtle re-releases and I’ve purchased most of them. I plan on covering what I have and I need to start somewhere, so this is what I’ve chosen.

Today we’re looking at the 2023 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Storage Shell Turtles Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael reissue figures. But don’t worry, I’m not leaving Donatello out in the cold.

We’ll also be looking at the original 1990 Don, the Storage Shell Turtle, so we can compare it with these re-releases.

Let’s get right into these ooze drinkers and shell raisers.

Who would have guessed that it would take me until 2023 to review a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles toy on this website?

Considering my questionable consistency and work ethic, I’m sure most of you are not surprised it took me this long. But TMNT was one of the biggest toy lines of the 1990s and I was not immune to Turtle Fever as a child, so here’s hoping this little post is just the beginning of me diving into the oozy waters of the TMNT franchise.
